We have an immediate opening for a temporary CDL Class A Driver for a nationwide mobile tour. The CDL Driver will be part of the tour management team, supporting the execution of Jack Morton`s nationwide mobile marketing experiences.
Responsibilities:
# Tour Management Assist Tour Manager, tour crew, and local labor with loading/unloading of trailer, and set-up/tear down of event
# Execute daily events (as DOT regulations allow)
# Assist Tour Manager and tour staff with all tasks, roles, and requests as needed
# Liaise with Tour Manager to ensure on-time arrival and departure from each venue
Tractor/Trailer Management & Transport
# Responsible for tractor/trailer driving and transport
# Lead scout for all pre-site inspections
# Ensure tow vehicle, trailer, and all `loads` comply w/ DOT regulations
# Provide daily/weekly log books in accordance with DOT regulations
# Assist in tractor/trailer maintenance (including regular generator service, tire checks, and weekly trailer washing)
Requirements:
# Class A CDL (w/ airbrakes), 2+ years of tractor/trailer experience
# Previous road show experience: experienced in all aspects of setup, including audio, video, lighting, and power
# Strong communication skills a must
# Strong customer service skills, with the objective of providing high-quality and responsive service to the public and to the team.
# Ability to work proactively and effectively communicate in a fast-paced environment
# Ability to anticipate challenges and implement solutions
